How Can I Make My Prayer Powerful to God? (3 Boosters)

How Can I Make My Prayer Powerful to God? There are oppositions that do not budge with the simple prayer and faith. There are particular boosters that are available to us that reinforce our prayers. In this post, I will cover three powerful boosters of your prayers.

God tells us to put him in remembrance

Revelations 12:11 lets us know testimonies are weapons in the hands of the believer. Revelations 12:11 says: They triumphed over him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. They did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

In “The Bible” we see with just a few moments of Hezekiah giving his personal testimonies and his prayer, he secured heaven’s intervention into his case. Put God into remembrance. Your personal testimony has the ability to deliver you in the day of trial.

You don’t have to be unfruitful when you serve the Lord. “The Bible” says, and ye shall serve the Lord, your God, and he shall bless thy bread and thy water and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land. The number of thy days I will fulfill. Exodus 23:25-26. God brings blessings to those who serve him. God brings blessings to those who serve him, so make use of your testimonies. Remind him of how you have served him, with all your heart and then look out for the release of your heritage in God. Your dedication and commitment to God’s kingdom will serve as a stronghold for you in the days of battle.

Praying in the spirit

Praying in the spirit is another method to boost your prayer. The forces against us are spiritual, so we must deal with them from that realm as the flesh hasn’t enough force to handle them. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand the evil day and having done all to stand, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit. Ephesians 6:12-13 and verse 18.

That is why Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit in order to help us transcend the physical realm into the heavenly. Until you are able to engage the help of the Holy Spirit in prayer, you may never experience true breakthrough in your Christian life. Roman 8:26-27.

Likewise, the spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the spirit itself maketh a decision for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth, the hearts knoweth what is in the mind of the spirit because he maketh intercession with the saints according to the will of God.

For no man understandeth him. How be it in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. When you pray in the spirit, the devil does not know what you’re talking with God about. The spirit himself intercedes on your behalf. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11.

For the spirit searcheth all things, ye the deep things of God for what man knoweth the things of a man save the spirit of which is in him? Even so, the things of God knoweth no man, but the spirit of God. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19. When you switch over to the spirit, the Holy Spirit helps you to raise a standard against the enemy.

What happens when you switch over to the spirit is that you are releasing the rivers of living water that flows in you as a spirit filled believer. He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water, but this spake he of the spirit, which they that believe on him, should receive for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:38-39.Your lips are the outlet of rivers of God within you. When you speak in tongues you release the river which is able to swallow up every evil flood of the enemy and deliver you out of every predicament.

After Jesus spoke about the importance of faith in dealing with oppositions, he then said, “How be it, this kind goeth not out, “but by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:21.

A combination of your faith, prayer and fasting will bring challenges to submission. Jesus fasted for 40 days and never discussed that event once. However, the effect of his fast was evident in his life and ministry. A fast without results is a mere waste of time as one of the purpose of a fast is a release of power. It is not a religious activity or one of those things we do in Christianity.

It is a vital kingdom force which empowers the believer to lose the bands of wickedness and undo heavy burdens and break every yoke. In Luke 4:14, we learn that after Jesus had fasted for 40 days, the word of God says, Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the spirit and news about him spread through the whole countryside. When we’re in a fast, we are connecting with heaven.

That is why during a fast we must remember to have periods of separation to study in fellowship with the word of God. So, when you’re faced with an opposition that seems not to be yielding to faith and prayer, organize a fast to help generate a fresh supply of power to deal with it. Then you will call and the Lord will answer. You will cry for help and he will say, “Here I am,” if you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk. Isaiah 58:9. Fasting produces breakthroughs, outstanding accomplishments, a breaking forth in your health, spiritual breakthroughs and answers to prayers. Thy light shall break forth as the morning.
